Hi, I live just outside of the beautiful Peak District National Park. I moved here in 2002 and quickly began walking in the park. These walks led to me purchasing my very first DSLR in 2006 as I wanted to record some of the beauty I was enjoying on these walks.
Very quickly, sunrise and the hour before sunrise became my favourite time of day for photography; it's so peaceful and full of promise. For one reason and another I find myself getting out less and less at these times. I must resolve to do better.
Thankfully, photography doesn't have to be confined to the golden hours to be of merit. Whatever the time of the day, make the most of where you are, and who knows what wonderful things might result.....
I'm what would be referred to as an enthusiastic amateur. I take photographs because I enjoy the process, and it helps me pay more attention to the world around me. I don't actively seek to sell my work, but should you see something you like here, then please do get in touch via the contact page.
